Prior to joining Summer Street Research Partners, Mr. Nam followed large- and mid-cap medical supply and device companies as an associate at SG Cowen. Previously, he worked in early-stage principal investing in the healthcare and technology industries at Technology Directors, Inc. He also worked as a consultant at Bain & Company, where he advised senior management teams at Fortune 500 companies on key corporate strategic issues. Prior to joining Summer Street Research Partners, Carol Werther worked as a biotechnology consultant for several firms, including Winslow Management and Rx Capital. She has also held senior biotechnology analyst positions at Think Equity and Adams Harkness & Hill. Ms. Werther was recognized by The Wall Street Journal's "Best on the Street Survey" in 2000 and 2001. She received an MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business, and holds an MS and BS in nutrition sciences from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and Cornell University, respectively.

Prior to joining Summer Street Research Partners, Lei Huang was the small-cap specialty pharmaceuticals analyst at Lehman Brothers in New York City. Previously, she worked as an associate on the specialty pharmaceutical equity research team at Lehman. Prior to joining the equity research team, Ms. Huang was an investment banker at Lehman focusing on the healthcare industry. Huang holds a bachelor's degree in finance from New York University.

Prior to joining Summer Street Research Partners, Ben Forrest worked with GE Healthcare as a member of its Commercial Leadership Program. He also worked as a business development consultant with the Northern California Cancer Center and Molecular Image, a medical device start-up company. Until recently moving to Boston, Mr. Forrest served on the board of directors at StartUp EPA, a nonprofit organization assisting aspiring entrepreneurs in low-income areas of Northern California. Mr. Forrest received a BA in Economics from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Stanford University.

Prior to joining Summer Street Research Partners, Emily Merchant was the Biotechnology Research Associate at WR Hambrecht + CO. Earlier in her career she served as Clinical Research Coordinator at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston. Ms. Merchant received a BA from Hamilton College in Chinese language and an MS in Pharmacology from Tufts University.

Prior to joining Summer Street Research Partners, Brittany Lewis held the position of Dietitian/Nutritionist at Dorchester House Multi-Service Center focusing on the adult population with diabetes. Previously, Ms. Lewis completed a nutrition internship through Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. Ms. Lewis holds a BS in Nutrition and Food Sciences with an emphasis in Dietetics from Utah State University.
